Like the birds, I too must migrate to more fruitful terrain

Sorry for being MIA, but I’ve been busy getting prepared for my big migration - the migration from Blogger to Wordpress! Those of you who are casual web surfers may not have a clue what this means. Good for you (seriously). My fellow web geeks know that Wordpress will ultimately provide a richer blogging experience for me, so I had to bite the bullet.

There can sometimes be some loose ends to tie up as a result of the turnover, so this is just a quick note to let everyone know the following:

1) Please bookmark the new url! Ella and I are now at http://www.growingupwithpup.com (no more blogspot). If you forget and go to the old one, it’s ok - you will just be redirected here (hopefully. If I did this right. Which remains to be seen…).

2) If you are subscribed to the blog via RSS or email, you shouldn’t experience any problems - again, if I took care of things properly. If you do, please drop me a line.

3) I’m still in the process of re-tagging and categorizing old posts, so give me a couple of weeks to get everything organized. In the meantime, if you feel like going down memory lane, best to just browse through the archives.

4) Be on the lookout for new features! I’m feeling a little lonely here and would love to get to know my readers better. I’ve got a few things up my sleeve…now all I need is Ella to stop tugging on it so I can direct my full attention (and both hands) toward actually implementing them. Stay tuned!!

Speaking of new features, I thought I’d start by getting on Twitter. Do you tweet? If so, want to follow Ella and myself? Have no idea what I’m talking about and think I’ve totally lost my mind? Well, you might be right about that, but here’s a little background on Twitter if you want to join the web geek club.

I hereby christen Growing Up With Pup - wordpress-powered!

About

My name is Tricia Mangan, and I live in New York City with my energizer puppy Ella. I’ve had the utterly exhausting gift of raising Ella on my own since she was 8 weeks old. Growing Up With Pup chronicles our journey together - the laughter (think puppy + toilet paper), the tears (oh the shoes that have died…), and the endless love and messes.
